What is Hello Heritage?
It’s a fun free fortnight for all the family to enjoy.
Hello Heritage is a celebration of the heritage and rich culture within and across both North West Leicestershire and South Derbyshire. Heritage sites and groups are coming together to provide a varied collection of opportunities for you to visit, see, and experience.
In 2019 we have seen the project grow from its original pilot in 2017. Receiving a nomination for Best Free Festival at the Leicestershire Tourism and Hospitality Awards in 2018, Hello Heritage stands to go from strength to strength, this year featuring over 100 seperate entries.
Last year saw more venues, one off events, walks, talks, and the development of some innovative new partnerships, including the participation of venues in South Derbyshire who have been working with us to grow the offerings again for 2019.
